Delete Your Account and Data


This page explains how to delete your account and data from Cattle Market Mobile, the app and website published by CattleSync, LLC.


How to request deletion


1. Send an email to support@cattlemarketmobile.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my Cattle Market Mobile account."
2. We'll reply to the email address on your account to confirm the request. Nothing is deleted until you confirm, so no one else can delete your account by sending a request in your name.
3. Once you confirm, we delete your account and the data described below, and email you when it's done.

If you're signed in to Sale Previews in the app, you can also go to Settings and tap "Delete account and data", which starts the same email for you.


What is deleted


  • Your account, including your email address and phone number
  • Your name and notification settings
  • Your account's access to any market's Sale Previews and market tools

What is kept


  • Sale Previews and other listings posted for a market belong to that market and stay up after a staff member's account is deleted. Ask the market to remove any you want taken down.
  • Records of purchases and invoices, which we keep as long as we are required to for tax and accounting purposes.
  • Copies in our database backups, until those backups expire on their normal schedule.

Data not linked to an account


You can browse market reports and Sale Previews without an account. Lots you save, and the views and contact lookups the app records, are tied only to a random ID kept on your device, not to your name or email, so we have no way to find them for a specific person. To remove them from your phone, uninstall the app or clear its data.


Calf Keeper and subscriptions


Calf Keeper accounts can be deleted inside the app. See Delete your Calf Keeper account. Deleting an account does not cancel a Cattle Market Mobile subscription bought through Google Play or the App Store. Cancel it in your Google Play or Apple account settings.
