View USDA PDF VersionCompared to the feeder calf auction just one week ago, 500 - 600 lb steer calves were 5.00 to 8.00 lower, 600 - 700 lbs calves were fully steady. Heifer trade also saw a fully steady market across all weight classes. Available today were many groups of home - raised, reputation feeder calves both LTW'd and just off the cow. Demand was very good for today's moderate supply. Internet bidding very active. The next scheduled feeder calf auction is New Year's Day.
