Compared to last week: Feeder steers 6.00-12.00 higher. Feeder heifers 5.00-10.00 higher. Quality was average with several drafts of fleshy steers. The steer turn was the complete opposite of last week with the market getting stronger towards the end of the sale. Steer calves over 500lbs 15.00-20.00 higher, under 500lbs lightly tested. Heifer calves 10.00-20.00 higher. Calf quality plain to average with mostly good flesh. Tuesday's offering included several drafts of summertime cattle that sold very close to number 1 money. Temperatures are forecasted to be close to 100 on Saturday.
