Another big run of cattle for todays auction with a house full of people. Good to moderate demand for todays offering that consisted of mostly home raised cattle that ranged from light fleshed hay fed cattle to moderate plus coming out of a grow yard. Plenty of loads, some multiple loads in the same sort along with part loads and packages for todays sale. Internet buyers were competing with order buyers and a few farmer feeder for cattle. A fairly active market, but buyers continue to remain cautious with market uncertainties looming overhead. A lower futures market, higher energy prices, a war going on in the Middle East and weather uncertainties in the next few days all contributed to an overall softer market. Next feeder sale is scheduled to be in two weeks, March 27, 2026.
