Compared to two weeks ago: best test on steers 600 to 649 lbs mostly steady, 700 to 749 lbs 7.00 to 10.00 higher with instances up to 25.00 higher. Heifers most well compared. Very good demand for this offering featuring quite a few loads and packages of home raised cattle including several consignments of replacement heifers from reputation outfits. Lots of attractive cattle to choose from with many of these fitting grass and backgrounding programs. Flesh condition mostly moderate to moderate plus and cattle were clean and open haired. An active market with buyers and farmer feeders in the seats and some activity on the internet. Warmer temperatures on the way for the weekend and into next week. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, February 6.
