View USDA PDF Version***Close*** Compared to last week, feeders steers sold 6.00-12.00 higher and lightly tested feeder heifers sold mostly steady. Steer and heifers calves sold 4.00-8.00 higher with spots 20.00 higher. PeeWee calves were very uneven from 15.00 lower to 15.00 higher. Demand was very good on a moderate supply. There were a lot of large drafts in the offering this week with 21 drafts having 25 head or more. The largest draft of the day was 130 head of steers weighing 794 lbs. which sold for 351.50/cwt. This was the last feeder sale of the year. The next feeder sale will be January 2 at 8:00 AM and will be a Wean/Vac Special.
