Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers 10.00 to 20.00 lower. Moderate to good demand for this lighter offering of high quality, light to moderate plus fleshed steers and heifers. Small packages of light cattle, still sold easily despite the weakness in the cattle futures complex, while the larger strings of feeding type cattle felt more of the pressure. Cattle feeders were able to sell fat cattle up to 241.00 las week, but with the futures down hard again today they are feeling uncertain about the path forward.
