Wyoming-Nebraska Direct Feeder Cattle, Wyoming

First reported cattle in a few weeks a market trend is not applicable. Demand was good with several looking to procure cattle. Very dry weather pattern prevails across both reporting regions with some grass prospect cattle getting sold this week at auction. Cattlemen are selling some of their grass cattle inventory not wanting to roll the dice on all of them if they will have available grazing this summer. The feeder market continues to sell rather well and the demand for those cattle going to the feedlot is good. Feedlot trade is very slow to kick this week with some sales Friday morning trading steady with last weeks market.
